Happy Monday! Today's Mother/Daughter Remix is this fun sparkly cardigan from New York & Company. We thought it would be a great piece to remix with it's pretty sparkle and since the holidays are just around the corner. We will also be linking up for Visible Monday over at Not Dead Yet Style. How can you not feel good and visible in a sparkly sweater? We are also going to partcipate in Everybody, Everywear. We also just realized that this is our 205th post since we started blogging!

| Miss M wanted to get in on the sparkle remix too. This is her Christmas Concert attire for school. Check out the pink and purple hair extensions in her hair. Oh, and we had a visit from The Tooth Fairy! Miss M lost her first tooth! |
With this cardigan, we wanted to dress it up and dress it casually as well. We also wanted to show that sparkle doesn't just have to be for the holidays or evening. Do you have anything sparkly? How do you like to wear it?
The combo with the purple tank, berry skirt, and purple belt is awesome! The pops of color really stand out and look fabulous!

Miss M is so cute, I love her skirt! Looks like you got to add a "m" to your blog title really soon.
ReplyDeleteI like the sparkly cardi, so versatile piece. Looks great as a casual look or formal one. You remix it really well!

My BF makes fun of me for my love of gold and sparkles but I actually have a very limited amount of shiny in my wardrobe (I'm scared of looking like a disco ball - when sparkles are done wrong you end up looking gaudy). I have a shiny red top and a shiny red skirt that's too big for me (still need to alter it). I like your sparkly cardigan- its certainly very versatile with its not too over the top looks. But I have a question about the material- how is it on the skin? Is it itchy at all?
ReplyDeleteMiss M is a cutey - I remember I got a tea set for my first tooth :)
What a pretty sparkly cardi. I love it with the snakeskin top and that pretty mark for avon necklace. And how adorable and stylish is little Miss M!
ReplyDeleteLove this remix, it's so festive! It looks great with all of the purples you both wore, and what a cool addition to the red and animal printed outfit Heather. Such a bright way to start Monday!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and nicely styled. I have a glittery gold cardi but haven't used it to as good advantage as you two here. Miss M is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is Miss M?? Adorable. I love this cardi, and I think my favorite look is with the red jeans and snakeskin top -- so fab.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Visible Monday, and have a wonderful day : >
Great remixes! I love this sparkly cardigan. I think its got just the perfect amount of sparkle that it really can be dressed up or dressed down.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day gals! :)
xx Jessica

Such a pretty, festive cardi! I love Kayla's first casual look. Heather, I LOVE your second look with the berry colored skirt, purple belt, and that gorgeous necklace. I also love the cardigan with the snake print top. Miss M is just so adorable and she looks like so much fun! How old is she? I believe she will be taking over the blogosphere in the near future :)- Dreama
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ladies. The cardigan is an amazing piece. It adds a bit of glam to every outfit with minimum effort. I loved it best against all back though.

Ooo I have something very similar that I bought from Old Navy! Love how you ladies styled it here, and I agree, a metallic cardigan can be both dressy and casual... Every girl can use shimmer in her life ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a versatile sweater! I don't have anything sparkly but now I want one!
ReplyDeleteChristmas is the perfect time for sparkle! I loved seeing your striped skirt, Heather, in that first picture. After months of loving everyone's striped skirts, I finally grabbed an under-used striped dress and made my own!
ReplyDeleteThe sparkly cardi is fab on both of you. Loving it. And Miss M is the cutest thing ever. Don't you wish we could wear a skirt like that?

I love wearing some sparkle in my outfit! I feel like all eyes are on me because I resemble a walking disco ball. I love the way that you guys wore the cardigan. So pretty!

Tis the season for sparkles! ;) I don't have much in the sequin/sparkles department, but I just bought myself a black tank with some pretty sequins on it from Maurices recently. I think I might break it out for my family's New Years Eve party!
ReplyDeleteYou girls rocked it. I love sparkles I have a scarf that's sparkly and I haven't figured out what to wear it with. You ladies gave me some great ideas.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is amazing! One of the great things about the Christmas season is I get to indulge my love of bling. :) And the little girl is just adorable.

ReplyDeleteI love a good sparky sweater, you can obviously do a lot with it. You ladies never cease to amaze me with your remix ability. That mark for Avon necklace Kayla has on is so fab, and I love the color of that NY&Co skirt Heather has on. And we can't forget how cute Miss M looks! :)

Kayla looks so pretty with her hair tied up and Miss M is a doll with her extensions and tutu! I love this sparkly cardigan-especially buttoned up (Heather I have a striped skirt like you that is pretty psychedelic in photos as well!)
ReplyDeleteThat cardigan is fabulous and perfect for the holiday season! Miss M is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the silver paired with the lavender on both of you - it seems like the perfect soft accent shade.
ReplyDeleteThat berry-colored skirt makes me want some raspberry sorbet SO BADLY. I'm sorry that this is the first weird thought I had on coming over here, but it's true! Great sparklies, I love all the different ways y'all came up with of wearing this cardigan! Goes to show that a little sparkle really can be versatile.
ReplyDeleteLove the sparkly cardigan! Perfect for this time of year although I love a little sparkle all year long. Miss M is too cute!
