Leopard and Mustard

Cardigan (Worthington, thrifted), Top & Pants (New York & Co), Heels (Target)
This outfit definitely feels more fall than spring to me with the mustard cardigan.  What happened to our little taste of summer a couple of weeks ago?  Weather in Ohio is so unpredictable.  There is a quote about Ohio that I think is cute.  "You know you live in Ohio when you use your heater and air conditioner all in the same day."  The little things like that make me chuckle.

Even if this outfit has more of a "fall-like" feel, I really like the mix of leopard and mustard.  What colors do you like to pair with leopard print?

Thanks to everyone's comments yesterday regarding the Stay or Go Purple Cardigan.  I think I will take your advice and keep it.  Keep an eye out for a future post with some different looks suggested by all of you!

Ok, off to cook dinner for the family.  What are all of you having for dinner tonight?

  1. I made meatloaf for dinner tonight. Michigan has a say that you can have all 4 season in one day. We are having the same type of weather like you guys in Ohio.

  4. It was just the little monsters and I tonight so ravioli with parm and olive oil it was. (Easy and always a winner.)

I love leopard and mustard together! I wore a mustard v-neck with my leopard wedges one day last week. Of course a go-to would be red but I also like teal. Monday I did bright blue with a side of orange. I love that leopard is now kind of a neutral.

  7. I've actually been wearing a lot of fall colors the past couple of weeks, as a response to the weather.

  8. I'm still wearing dark colors, too. Nothing wrong with that. We had pork and spinach in cream of mushroom!

  9. The leopard and mustard are a great combo! It's gotten cold again in Jersey too and I had to pull my winter clothes back out. :( I made spaghetti and meatballs last night and it was delish!

  10. Last week is was so cold that I had to break out my leather jacket and wooly scarf. And then it got so warm I had to change into shorts... I think the same goes for DC - AC and heater all in the same day :)

I've always liked the mustard and leopard mix; I don't think it's too season specific so no worries about the fall vibe (and besides who doesn't like a bit of fall?)

Tonight I'm mooching off the parents so whatever my mom has in the fridge will end up in my tummy!

  11. We've been having the same problem in Atlanta...I was waking up to 40-ish degree weather last week! It was 80 IN FEBRUARY!! What is going on?

Anyway...I think mustard yellow is seasonless, so this is a great outfit :)
