Today's title is not very creative, but I just couldn't think of anything else! What can I say? Some days the creative juices are flowing a little better than others.
This orange/tangerine top is one of my favorite colors for summer. It's bright, it's summery, and looks great paired with neutrals, white or other pops of color. I knew that this yellow belt would be the perfect accent to the outfit.
Since my creative juices obviously aren't flowing today, I don't really have much to say except that I cannot get that song "Call Me Maybe" out of my head! What are you listening to right now?
Have a great day. I hope your creative juices are a little better than mine.
Love that you added the belt for an extra pop of color!
ReplyDeletelove the colours combo.

The fit and color of your shirt is great. I like the balance of brights on top with neutrals on the bottom. The only time I listen to radio is the drive between my home and Lil C's preschool. For weeks it's been on a pop station and I got sick of listening to the same songs (same exact line-up every morning) that I finally changed it to a country station. That's what I'm tuning into these days. If I'm home, it's a mix of oldies, blues and jazz on the ipod.
ReplyDeleteSome days you're too tired to come up with something creative and that's OK. I love the tangerine and pop of yellow, the belt really makes the look! I've in love with The Civil Wars right now, the song Poison & Wine is on loop on iPod!
ReplyDeleteThe belt is the key. Not just the pop of color but the stylish way you tied it. That always impresses me.
ReplyDeleteI know it's common these days to use "nude" to describe color, but when I see it (like in your title), my antennae immediately go up expecting something else. Of course, I remembered it's your blog and, thus, unlikely to display anything outrageous, but I was still more than a little curious.
Well great, now I have that song stuck in my head too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love those two colors together, I think it's unexpected and that makes the outfit creative! You look fantastic.
Since we're about the same age you'll totally understand this comment. Yesterday I was grabbing lunch at a food court and the song call me maybe was playing...the next song was say you'll be there. Sorry..I'd rather have some who will be there than call me maybe ;)
ReplyDeleteI have had a blog open for the past hour and I still don't have a "clever" title for it. Sigh, this is probably a sign I need more sleep. The outfit is great though!!
ReplyDeleteDid anyone tell you that you can wear a skirt like nobody's business. I wish skirts were half as flattering on my body!
ReplyDeleteI listen to whatever is on the car radio; a little bit of contemporary and a whole lot of classical.
I have some days where I cant get that song out of my head either! But onto the outfit..you look so well put together. I think the belt and the shoes really pull it all together and give it a little something more:)

great color combo
ReplyDeleteI adore "call me maybe" - though I am borderline saturation point by now, haha.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow belt is so adorable.
ReplyDeleteSometimes that just happens, you know. But the outfit is very creative! Love the yellow belt!
