How do you like to style your basic t-shirts? I don't wear t-shirts on a regular basis, but when I do, I like to give them a little something extra to spice it up. When putting together this outfit, my goal was to wear something comfortable for casual Friday at work, but to add a little something extra. That's where the bright scarf comes in. As a lot of you fashion bloggers know, scarves can add that something special to any outfit. The best part about scarves is that they are not expensive and you can wear them in so many different ways. Do you remember our scarf remix here? How do you like to spice up your basic t-shirt when putting together an outfit?
Often times the least fussy outfits are the best. I can wear a simple oversized white tee and a pair of khaki shorts but dress things up with a nice blazer and a smashing pair of shoes. I like your take on the plain tee with the scarf. That's another great option for a comfortable yet stylish look.

ReplyDeleteTypically, I only wear jeans and tees in the fall and winter and I accessorize them with scarves. I do love my scarves! Instant elevation of a simple outfit!
I love the look of a scarf with a t-shirt. I'm not good at styling scarves myself, but I love them on other people! As for me I choose a statement type necklace if I wear a plain t-shirt.

ReplyDeleteYou're doing what I do--a basic T with a fun/wild scarf. I have a bunch of scarves, and I like giving them center stage by pairing them with plain/solid/neutral Ts.

ReplyDeleteHEATHER!!! I just commented on Kayla's recent post, and I'm so happy to "see" you, too! I certainly agree that a scarf (or statement necklace) can do wonders for a basic tee. I have an extensive scarf collection, and I'm eyeing yours...... ;)
