Cobalt Pleated Midi & Polka Dots

Top (NY&Co, thrifted, $2.99), Skirt (No tag, thrifted, $.50), Heels (Target, $29.99), Necklace (gift)=$33.97

My horrible attempt at a curtsy
Although this outfit cost me a total of $33.97, I felt like a million bucks!  This cobalt pleated midi was found last summer during a thrifting trip and it has been a favorite ever since.  I paired it with the polka dot blouse and realized that I am full of some serious trends today.  Polka dots, pleats, and midi skirts have been all the rage for awhile.  Is that bad to dress head to toe in trends?  I don't necessarily think so with this specific outfit.  The midi skirt also feels very ladylike to me too.

This afternoon I will be spending a four hour session with Kayla doing her senior pictures.  It's hard to believe my little baby isn't a baby anymore and is going into her senior year!  Everyone tells me to be ready for a whirlwind trip with her and all the crazy costs associated with senior year in high school.  Needless to say, Kayla has already informed me we will not be doing a Mother/Daughter remix post tonight because she will be all photographed out after today.  Next week we will be back with another round of remixes.

Also, this must be my week of linkups.  I will be linking up with Callie and other thrifters over at Coffee and Cardigans later today.

  20. Gorgeous skirt, one of your best skirts and totally something I would wear. Actually I would wear this outfit head to toe. I am saving this as an inspiration look. Gotta find a Cobalt Midi in the meanwhile. =)
