I have declared these red jeans my power pants. Some people wear a power suit to work, I wear power pants. I knew when I put these on yesterday morning, I was going to need all the power and confidence to get through a challenging day at work. Since I work in accounting, I am responsible for balancing the company checking account. This is a task that I loathe and dread every single month! Needless to say, after almost 6 hours, I made it through and jumped up and down and hooted and hollered. I am not joking when I say that I did that, ha ha.
Making it through a rough day calls for power pants, a denim vest, some bling, and of course some leopard. All of these pieces put together made me happy even though my day was going to be rough.
What do you wear when you need to feel confident and powerful?

ReplyDeleteWhen I need to feel confident and powerful....I like to wear heels. I don't do sky high platforms....I do sensible heels that are chic and classic.
Red is definitely a power color! These look great! I also love your denim vest - I recently thrifted one myself, it's a fun added touch for an outfit!

ReplyDeleteALL OVER those red pants, they are total amazing and you rock them! You should feel confident :) I always feel most confident when I'm wearing my most vintage pieces--they are more "me" and I feel like they are most flattering to my body shape. So even though I might stand out weirdly, in the end I feel beautiful and in place :)
